Your view of yourself will greatly influence how others perceive you. If you are a confident, cheerful, positive person, your co-workers, friends, and family will be attracted to your personality. If you are unhappy, negative, and always complaining about your situation, others will be repelled. Even when at times you don’t feel very happy, by forcing yourself to behave in a positive fashion, you will find that you soon feel genuinely upbeat, because your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between an artificial emotion and the real thing. When you behave positively, you will positively influence everyone around you-including yourself.

A positive mind finds a way it can be done. A negative mind looks for all the ways it cannot be done.
Someone once said, "There are no truths; there are only perceptions of truth." Whether or not you accept this statement, whatever you believe to be true will become your reality. Your subconscious mind will believe anything you tell it-if you repeat the words often and with conviction. When you are faced with a daunting task that youve never attempted before, focus on the potential for success, not on the possibilities for failure. Break the job down into smaller elements and tackle each one separately. The only difference between success and failure in any job is your attitude toward it.

You are more apt to "rust" out your brain from disuse than you are to wear it out from use.
Unlike a mechanical device that eventually wears out and must be replaced if it is used continually and consistently, the mind grows only stronger when it is active. The more you exercise and stretch your brain, the more proficient it becomes. Disuse, however, will have the same effect upon your mind as it will upon a machine. The most intricate, most powerful machine in the world and the greatest minds will rust away unless they are used. Unless you manage your schedule to permit time for study and learning, it is easy to yield to the temptation to spend your free time in thoughtless, mind-numbing, escapist pastimes. Relaxation is important, but so is gaining new knowledge. Make sure your daily schedule includes an allotment of time for both.

10 Tips for IIT JEE Screening Test
- Do the easy questions first. Leave the difficult questions at first go.
- Reach the end of the question paper by following step 1.
- If you still have time, try to do the more difficult questions that you had left in the first go.
- Wild guessing should not be done. However, if two options out of four have been eliminated, then intelligent guessing may be done.
- Read the instructions given in the paper carefully. Nothing has officially been announced about the no. of quesions that will be asked or about the difficulty level.
- Reach the examination hall well in time. It may be a good idea to visit the place one day in advance, so that you do not have difficulty in locating it on the exam day in case you are unfamiliar with the location.
- If the paper is very tough, don't feel nervous. Remember that it is relative performance that counts. Others may find it tough also.
- Do not mark the bubbles in hurry. This may spoil all the work you have done. Remember that this is the only thing that is examined.
- Take care of your health. The most important thing in this respect in this season is drinking water.
- Do not study a new topic a few days before the exam. Strengthen the topics that you are good at.

If you know your own mind, you know enough to keep it always positive.
You may not fully understand the complex process that causes electricity to be generated and transmitted to your home. But you understand very well how to apply and use it to illuminate your home, power your computer, and perform hundreds of other essential tasks. The same is true of your mind. No one understands the incredibly complex workings of the brain; we know only that when we use our mind in a certain way, we achieve a desired result. If we think positively, we achieve positive results.
